So I've been on DA for *checks* 2 months now, and I really feel stupid for not being here all along.

Back in the day I was on Elfwood, with both a genuine and "humorous" account, and I remember when DA was gaining popularity. I resisted because I found the layout SO INCREDIBLY confusing. At about the same time Elfwood was really starting to piss me off because they made a "submission quality standard" just because of my other account . LOL my other account was a young lady who loved to post semi-erotic pictures of wizards from LOTR made in Paint.

So "she" switched to actual drawings but still the moderators caused all sorts of anal drama because they just didn't get the obvious hilarity. Then I dropped art altogether to focus on my science degree.

...anyway...

The immense amount of talent and the open atmosphere here just astound me every day. From the jaw-droppingly perfect artists to the what-i-lack-in-experience-i'll-make-up-for-in-sass amateurs, it makes me so happy XD

The amount of amazing artists here that I've commissioned/collaborated with would not have been possible without this website. Some dress up's coming up in the near future:
